Come on out and play shinty with us. The Houston Camanachd Club is co-ed, and everyone is encouraged to come out and play. All you'll need is shinguards and athletic shoes to practice with us! Welcome to Houston Camanachd

Houston Camanachd is a community organization devoted to further the ancient and unique stick sport of shinty (gaelic: camanachd). Shinty comes from the predominantly gaelic speaking areas of Scotland, but can be found all over the UK and now in America! Houston Camanachd was founded in 2005, and is modeled after the first known succesful shinty club in America, the NCCC - Northern California Camanachd Club (2001).

Houston Camanachd meets just about every other Saturday, weather permitting.
